What types of wedding ceremonies in Santorini do we offer?

1. Hotels

Price range: 0 – 1600

The cost of the site depends on the location (the closer to the capital, the more expensive), the hotel class, the uniqueness of the panorama and the number of guests. Hotel San Antonio does provide a wedding venue for free (hence 0 at the lower end of the range) when booking from two hotel rooms.

The hotel’s wedding venue has the following advantages:

• Wedding celebration and accommodation in one hotel helps with the convenience of accommodation, without haste to get to the ceremony and relax immediately after this exciting day. There is no need for additional travel around the island (unless for a photo shoot or a romantic walk);
• All hotels have a kitchen: you can carefully choose the holiday menu and do not worry about the quality of dishes or ingredients – all the hotels on our list have excellent chefs;
• Part of the locations are mini-hotels. Therefore, you will be able to buy the whole hotel, and foreign guests will not bother you during the ceremony or rest: the holiday will be fully held only in the circle of your loved ones

Each hotel from our list is chosen not by chance and is beautiful in its own way. The list includes larger and more ceremonial locations (e.g. hotel in The Maltese Estate), miniature terraces for chamber ceremonies (Andronis, Dana Villas), villas (Cavo Ventus) and even quite unusual places – for example, a hotel Canaves luxury, carved into the rock and located in the former winery.

2. Separate venues for the wedding ceremony

Price range: 340 – 2000

The sites are separate locations, specially equipped for wedding ceremonies, but not tied to any hotel or apartment.

Pros of “separate” wedding venues:

• Size
  Often, individual venues have a larger area than hotel sites, and are suitable not only for chamber celebrations, but also for large weddings, with a lot of 12 to 400 people
• Format
  Individual areas are happy with their variety: from classical spaces, with official chairs in white covers and chapel for wedding, to an open beach or garden, with private parking and a helipad.
• Restaurant
  Most of the areas in our collection have their own high quality cuisine.

In our list of venues only the most beautiful, interesting and extravagant places for weddings. Among them is a site on the grounds of the famous Santo Winery, a wonderfully atmospheric Santorini Gem with a unique view of the caldera and the Aegean Sea, and even a playground on the beach – Theros Wave Bar, allowing you to hold a ceremony by the sea and organize awesome wedding party.

What to look for when choosing a site?

• Guests
  Chamber ceremony for two, wedding for closest friends and relatives, or a big celebration: the sites have different capacity, and this should be taken into account
• Ceremony format
  Is there a symbolic ceremony, official registration or a wedding in the church? If the couple wants to get married, it is more convenient to choose a site with a church or temple nearby, or even in the territory of the location
• Character of the celebration
  Romantic dinner for two, a classical celebration or a youth party with a DJ: the nature of the celebration is an important moment when choosing a venue, as locations can have restrictions on noise and light effects
• Kitchen
  Almost all locations from our collection have their own kitchen, but if its availability is fundamentally important, we offer to add the category “restaurant” to the filter when searching
• Accommodation
  Part of the sites is located on the territory of hotels, some – separate locations. If you want to organize an event and stay in one place, choose the “hotel” category in the filter
• Price
  All the sites of our list are beautiful, but they differ in size and scope (agree that just a beautiful and romantic location is very different from the huge terrace of the class “luxury” with a helipad). In the filter, you can set the price range and choose the best option.
